Job Details:
  • Hourly rate: Depending on Experience – plus incentives.
  • Contract: Self-employed basis.
The Role:
  • As practice manager, you will be a core member of the Leone Centre Team responsible for different areas that contribute to the smooth running of our practice.
  • Versatility and the ability to undertake a range of different tasks at any one time with an entrepreneurial spirit are very important in this role.
  • Ideally, you will also be a trained counsellor and be able to use your extensive professional counseling expertise to support the counseling service delivery and contribute to its future development.
  • Reporting to Leone Centre’s Directors, you will maintain the highest level of communication, develop and provide regular updates on projects, information/events.
  • Managing and directing the delivery of all counseling service operations to agreed standards.
  • Providing solid leadership of our self-employed counsellor team, administrators and business partners.
  • Organizing and responding to client enquiries managing all the client referral processes to ensure suitable allocation and matching of clients/counsellors.
  • Arranging offer of appointments by counsellors to make the most of counsellors’ availability and client uptake.
  • Use your extensive professional counseling and psychotherapy experience to support the present counseling delivery and to contribute to the future development of these.
  • Managing the recruitment of new associate members of the team from initial advertising through to interview, onboarding and training processes.
  • Actively identifying and escalating areas for improvement in the running of the Leone Centre as we grow and evolve, as in response to changes externally (e.g. Covid 19 and continuously reviewing and improving all processes to ensure the greatest efficiency at all times.
  • Collaborating with Leone Centre to ensure preparedness for all tasks at hand in any absence.
  • Providing written reports and other information to Directors.
  • Contributing to the management of social media activity and related collaborators, maintaining a strong positive presence.
  • Managing the training process for new team members on our policies, procedures and calendar systems and Induct and set up new starters on our database.
  • Communicate with the team on any updates, training, events and meetings.
You must have:
  • Top-level organizational skills and ability to work as a team.

  • A confident, positive, empathetic and friendly manner.
  • Excellent written English, grammar, punctuation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent proofreading and formatting skills.
  • The ability to prioritize and deliver to deadlines.
  • The ability to use own initiative and be calm under pressure.
  • PC or laptop with paid for Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware installed.
  • Reliable internet connection.
  • Mobile/telephone.
  • Experience in online appointment booking systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based storage systems.
  • Have a good understanding and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Sound knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
  • This role also offers the opportunity to work as an associate therapist at Leone Centre.
  • Experience in using health record management systems e.g. WriteUpp.
  • Experience of working in a private practice or NHS setting.
  • Blog and content writing skills.
  • Skills for creating content and posting to different social media platforms.
  • Experience in using WordPress.
  • The ability to work from home within the UK and/or to avoid long commutes.
