Erika Mancini
Individual Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Erika Mancini is a BACP registered Counsellor with a Masters degree in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
Erika’s therapeutic approach is Transactional Analysis, the principles of which regard every person with worth, dignity, inner potential for growth and capacity to change. This approach develops from Humanistic and Psychoanalytic theories and it regards the therapeutic relationship as a means to support people to achieve changes.
Erika believes that unaddressed, early experiences of hurt and misattunement, can sometimes lead us to repeat the same defeating patterns in adult life that prevent us from living in a more fulfilling way. She helps her client to make links and recognize patterns or repetitions in their behaviour so that they can learn new ways of relating to themselves and others.
Erika holds the belief that counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful not only to work on difficulties but also to explore new possibilities for personal achievement.
