I am a qualified Family Therapist and a Systemic psychotherapist, and a social worker registered with the UKCP, the Association of Family Therapy and Social Work England. I hold an MSc in Family therapy and a BA Hons in Social Work and Sociology.
I have extensive experience working with Individuals and couples presenting with a wide variety of issues, including substance misuse, conflict and infidelity.
I take a strengths-based approach that emphasizes the relational, finding alternative stories of love, hope and resilience to the challenges people encounter through the course of their lives.
The diverse individuals, couples and families I support encounter a genuine, friendly and creative therapist who takes the time to understand and work collectively to develop greater insight into and the skills to improve patterns of communication leading to more satisfying relationships.
I have approximately 40 years of professional experience in social care and social work across a huge range of social groups and issues, which underpins my therapeutic practice.
