I find relationships between people, connection and intimacy compelling, and I can offer individuals and couples both practical and psychotherapeutic strategies to improve their wellbeing.
I am a member of the BACP and COSRT and have been working as a therapist for over 15 years in the NHS at Relate and Universities. Relate trained and focusing on a Person-Centred approach, I offer Individual, Couples and Psychosexual Therapy and work with an integrative approach, incorporating elements of CBT, solution-focused and systemic therapy depending on the individual or couple’s needs.
I have extensive experience working with relationship issues, communication problems, issues around physical and sexual health, anxiety and depression.
With a special interest in Psychosexual Therapy for both couples and individuals, I work in a collaborative, gentle and respectful way. This type of therapy can encompass issues around the psychosexual implications of menopause in women, desire, addiction, erectile problems, pain and difficulties with orgasm.
My work life to date encompasses the NHS, Relate and Universities, as well as private practice. I work with an integrative approach, incorporating elements of CBT, solution-focused and systemic therapy depending on the individual or couple’s needs.
With a warm, gentle and direct approach, my client groups include couples and individuals from 18 years upward and the LGBTQI+ community. My approach is one of inclusivity, and gender, sex and relationship diversity are important considerations in my work.
The sessions are confidential, free of judgement and non-shaming. It’s about what works for you.
I provide a supportive, judgement-free, safe and confidential space.
