About Tonia Forster
At the heart of my work is the understanding that relationships profoundly shape our emotional and mental well-being. As a UKCP registered Family Therapist and Supervisor, I have over 30 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. When facing difficulties in your relationships, managing stress, or feeling overwhelmed, therapy can provide a space for reflection and meaningful change.
My work centres on how our connections with others influence our inner world. We can gain clarity, build understanding, and strengthen relationships by exploring these dynamics. My approach is rooted in collaboration and care, providing support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, family tensions, and the complexities of neurodivergence.
I have worked extensively within the NHS, supporting people experiencing concerns, including eating distress, trauma, and the impact of mental health challenges on relationships. My experience extends to offering therapy to healthcare staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping those in high-pressure roles rediscover balance and resilience.
