At the heart of my work as a Therapist lies a commitment to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of emotional and relational well-being. With many years of experience gained in therapeutic practice and across diverse settings—schools, statutory services, mental health organisations, charities, and voluntary agencies—I bring a depth of understanding to every session.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have been a member since 2005. My approach aligns with their ethical framework and values, ensuring a safe, professional, and supportive client environment.
I have worked as a Relate-licensed counsellor for over 15 years and within the NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) service, where I provided relationship counselling and Couple Therapy for Depression (CTfD) as an accredited therapist. Additionally, I am an accredited Mentalization-Based Therapist (MBT) for Parenting Under Pressure, an evidence-based treatment, and I have specialised experience working within a Reducing Parental Conflict Team. This work focused on helping both intact and separated couples maintain a child-centred perspective while navigating conflict.
In our ever-evolving digital world, I am also a trained and qualified telephone and online therapist, offering clients flexible access to therapy regardless of location.
My approach to therapy is person-centred, collaborative, and bespoke to your unique needs. Whether you are facing challenges rooted in the past or dealing with present-day struggles, therapy can be a space for growth, clarity, and healing. There are no “wrong” reasons to seek support—only opportunities to live a more fulfilled and satisfying life.
I aim to create a caring, non-judgemental space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships safely and openly.
