About Nicky Wildin
I am a Relationship and Integrative Therapist with experience of mental health support going back more than 20 years. I have supported individuals and couples with relationships, loss and trust issues, and emotional and mental health well-being.
My practice is dedicated to supporting individuals and couples in their emotional well-being, relationships, and personal growth. I bring substantial professionalism, knowledge of the real-life implications of various mental health challenges, and an empathetic, grounded approach to my work. I also have extensive experience working with clients processing the complexities of loss, bereavement, past trauma, and relationship difficulties.
I am a Cambridge-educated, BACP-registered therapist specialising in Systemic and Integrative therapy for individuals and couples. My professional background also includes extensive work as a Suicide Postvention & Bereavement Practitioner and as a School and College Counsellor, where I supported young people through pivotal life stages. My collaboration with organisations such as the Police, NHS, Ambulance Services, and Local Authorities further deepens my ability to address complex client needs.
Alongside all the above, I have experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, and in supporting parenting and relationship dynamics involving neurodiversity.

My Approach
Whether working with couples or individuals, I aim to promote connection, self-awareness, and growth. With couples, I integrate insights from their histories and current dynamics using a systemic and psychodynamic framework. I help them build practical communication skills, cultivate empathy, and address challenges like infidelity, conflict, intimacy issues, parenting disagreements, and life transitions, equipping couples to face challenges as a team.
I take an integrative approach for individuals, blending Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy to process past trauma, break unhelpful patterns, and support resilience, including neurodiversity-affirming practices.
In all cases, I create a compassionate, collaborative space grounded in trust, humour, and hope for a brighter future.
