About Stelios Christodoulou
As a registered member of the BACP, I have been providing counselling for 25 years including 12 years of group work experience and work in the public sector. I have worked in various settings in the voluntary sector and the NHS. At Leone Centre, I offer counselling and psychotherapy to couples and individuals. I am also a counselling service coordinator, supervisor and therapy groups facilitator.
As well as being a therapist and couple counsellor, I have worked in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and also supported the training, professional development of counsellors and psychotherapists.
I originally trained in Gestalt Therapy, Egan’s skilled Helper model and Emotionally Focused Therapy and have gone on to develop an integrative way of working with couples and individuals. I have a strong working knowledge of psychodynamic therapy, Transactional Analysis, Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and in devising and delivering psycho-educational workshops and group work programmes.
Instilling a collaborative approach and striving for excellence in the support of clients, colleagues and placement students I am committed to the integrity of the therapeutic work with flexibility and experience.
My work with couples is informed by an attachment-based approach to relationship counselling. I have developed extensive knowledge and experience in supporting couples who seek help with difficulties in their relationships.
I have considerable knowledge of how addictions and mental health issues impact on couple relationships.

We can offer in-person counselling in London appointments at our head office in Fulham and our offices in Kensington, Wimbledon and Belgravia, We also service Victoria, Putney, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, and City of London.
In addition, we offer Online Therapy appointments wherever in the world you are located, should this better fit around your existing commitments or if you are not able to attend an in-person appointment.
