I am a passionate integrative psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner with experience across private practice, companies and the NHS. I enjoy providing solution-focused and practical therapeutic outcomes alongside a person-centred and humanistic approach.
As an experienced EMDR practitioner, I specialise in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing and I am currently on the pathway to becoming an EMDR consultant. My core training was in hypnosis and integrative psychotherapy, with an accredited UKCP Advanced Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy. I also hold an MSc in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Music degree from the University of Surrey and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, which compliments the financial market aspects of my career, including investments and trading.
My earlier therapeutic work focused on addictions such as smoking cessation, phobias, weight management, stress and anxiety reduction, self-esteem and confidence issues. More recently, I have specialised in trauma and complex PTSD presentations, including sudden and unexpected death or bereavement, pregnancy complications and loss, narcissistic abuse, domestic abuse and violence, rape and sexual assault, childhood neglect and abuse, industrial and road traffic accidents and working with police, fire and paramedics who have been psychologically affected by their work. I am committed to offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their challenges and find new ways forward.
I always aim to expand my professional experience and working knowledge of psychotherapeutic interventions and tools for positive change. Recently, I have completed additional certifications in working with ADHD, Autism, Sex and Relationship Counselling, Narcissistic Abuse and Antagonistic Relationships, Mindfulness, Personality Disorders, Binge Eating and Chronic Dieting and Grief Counselling.
